I’m a mom of two wild and wonderful kids with two dogs and a husband that puts up with us all! I remember stumbling onto the Floret Flower Farms’s Instagram page and instantly being drawn into her unbelievably dreamy photos of large bouquets of zinnias and other flowers resting over her shoulder as Erin looked off into her flower farm fields at sunset.

Flash forward through two emotionally draining years of infertility. Then in November of 2019 we found out we were pregnant! Only to have the entire world shut down around us a few months later. With my stress building and no where to go I remember dreaming back to Erin’s stunning photos and thought that maybe a little garden of my own would bring me some of the serenity I so desperately needed.

I told my husband that I wanted to start gardening and hoped to start some seeds. With no knowledge or experience (how hard could it be!) I went out the next day to buy seeds, soil & seed trays. Unfortunately I only had about 20% of my seeds sprout. Disappointing, yes! But it gave me the opportunity to start searching and soaking up as much information as I could about starting seeds and tending to a happy and healthy garden.

Four years later I’m starting trays filled with happy little sprouts each season. Every years since 2020 my garden has grown and each year I have been grateful for the experience and joy of sprouting my own garden!
